The Conference of science and technology is held every 3 years for the purpose of offering a special opportunity for the scientist and professors from universities, institutions, manufactures and HCMUT meet together to exchange experiences, disseminate scientific achievements and advanced technologies of Civil Engineering.
The Conference also aims to foster the friendship and collaboration between universities, institutions and manufactures in general. The Conference will surely give Conference participants opportunities to interact and present viewpoints about Conference topics.

Rules on articles
Reports of research works must be written in one of the two languages: Vietnamese, English. Each report must not be longer than 8 (eight) pages in printing on A4 size paper (210mm x 279mm) using Unicode characters with the Times New Roman font of 12pts. The left margin is 3cm and the right margin is 2cm; the top and the bottom margins are 2.5cm each (including graphs and pictures). The report should be submitted in 3 versions, together with the corresponding file(s) saved on the CD. The report must have a title and an abstract of 10 – 12 standard lines in both English and Vietnamese if the report is written in English or Vietnamese, specifying the goals and results of the research work.
Formulas and symbols must be printed neatly and properly in the right proportion with the numbers showing the formulas printed on the right. Pictures, graphs, and figures must be clear and accurate and must be clearly.
References must be ordered in accordance with the instructions in the report.
With quoted articles: the order numbers, names of authors, titles of the articles and journals, must be printed in italics or may be printed in international abbreviations together with the volume numbers, pages and years of publication.For example: [3] Taylor G.I., Proc. Roy. Soc. A 104, 180 (1992)
With quoted books: Specify the order numbers, names of authors or publishers, chapters or titles of the referred units if possible, titles of the referred books in italics, names of the publishing houses, places and years of publication.For example: [5] Stanler J.C. Electromagnetism. McGraw-Hill, London (1947)
If technical reports are used as references, it is a must to specify the order numbers, names of authors, titles of the reports printed in italics, date of report, names and addresses of the institution of report.
At the end of the submitted report, there must be the full name of the author, his/her e-mail to facilitate necessary contact.
Registration
With pleasure, we invite you to participate in the 10 th Conference on Science and Technology in HCMUT.
Please fill out the registration form and submit your abstract to Conference Office by 02 th June 2007 . This abstract should be typed on a separate sheet of paper with title at the top of the page, followed by author’s name, affiliation, address, telephone and fax number, e-mail address, and the body of the abstract. The abstract should not exceed 400 words. In the case of multi-authors, each author’s name and information should be listed separately after the title.
Full text paper must be submitted in pdf. format to nvchanh@hcmut.edu.vn by 02 th July 2007 . People are unable to submit papers electrically, please contact the Conference Secretariat. The revised paper should be handed by 15 th August 2007 .
